Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old at the time of hire with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be a United States citizen, permanent resident, or citizen of another U.S. Territory.
  • Must provide recent employment history.
  • Must be able to pass an independent credit counselor certification course (full training provided – no cost to applicant)
  • Must possess basic computer and phone skills, including Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to speak to a high-volume of consumers while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.

Available Positions

Customer Care Representative (Full Time)

Cambridge Credit Counseling, a non-profit agency located in Agawam, MA, is currently seeking customer care professionals to join our growing team. This is a full-time, in-house position with the opportunity to work 1-day per week remotely upon completion of training.

Our company was founded in 1996 and has since helped hundreds of thousands of individuals and families resolve their financial challenges by helping them reduce or eliminate their unsecured debts and by providing them the financial education they need to stay debt-free forever. Our customer care representatives assist clients from all across the country by answering their questions and resolving any issues they may have.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, therefore our customer care representatives must be able to handle multiple tasks in an efficient and timely manner, while maintaining a pleasant demeanor when speaking to our clients.

All of our Customer Care representatives are also required to pass a credit counselor certification course. However, you will be provided with all of the training and tools you’ll need to ensure that you are successful. The starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour. The range of pay is $16.00 - $24.00, but please note this is the range for the position to pay and not the starting wage.

The successful candidate will possess some or all of the following skills and/or traits:

  • Career-oriented individual interested in long-term growth
  • Perform multiple tasks efficiently and timely
  • Answer a large volume of client calls per day
  • A pleasant phone demeanor and professional disposition
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills, including the use of Windows, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Basic phone skills
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and guides
  • Detail-oriented – able to accurately enter customer data
  • Knowledge of how credit cards and credit reporting works (helpful, but not required)

Full time position available. The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, eastern time.
