1. Sponsor
The "Debt-Free Journey" Contest (the "Contest") is sponsored by Cambridge Credit Counseling Corp., located at 67 Hunt Street, Agawam, MA 01001 ("Sponsor").
2. Eligibility
This Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Cambridge Credit Counseling Corp., its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
3. Agreement to Rules
By participating, the Entrant ("You") agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of the Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the content and outcome of this Contest.
4. Contest Period
Entries will be accepted online starting on the first day of each month at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) and ending on the last day of each month at 11:59 PM ET (the "Contest Period").
5. How to Enter
- To enter the contest, a consumer must complete a full budgeting session with a Cambridge credit counselor, which involves disclosing monthly expenditures for common household expenses such as rent/mortgage payment, grocery costs, auto loan payments, utility payments, credit card payments, etc. All information shared by the consumer during the budgeting session shall be kept confidential. Cambridge will not share that information with any other entity.
- Enrollment as a Cambridge client is not required of anyone who wants to enter the contest, nor will enrollment increase any consumer’s chance of winning a prize.
- Limit one (1) entry per person.
6. Prizes
One (1) Monthly Prize Winner will receive a $100 Amazon® Gift Card. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at the Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
7. Odds
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
8. Winner Selection and Notification
The Winner will be selected by a random drawing under the supervision of Cambridge Credit Counseling Corp. on the morning of the first business day following the last day of each month.
The Winner will be notified by email and/or telephone within five (5) days following the selection. Sponsor shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings, or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within fourteen (14) days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected.
9. Terms & Conditions
Cambridge Credit Counseling Corp. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest. In such cases, Sponsor may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor.
10. Limitation of Liability
By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Cambridge Credit Counseling Corp. and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) your participation in the Contest and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process.
