## Children's "FUN"ancial Education Workbook

All children become interested in money and the idea of what it does at different times during their development. If your child has shown this interest, it may be time to start introducing them to the different aspects of personal finance. This guide is meant to help you teach them the very basics while having fun.

## Learn Now or Pay Later Financial Literacy Guide

A detailed, easy-to-understand reference on many personal finance topics. It sets out the building blocks of a sound financial plan, including building a spending plan, setting short- and long-term goals, understanding your credit report and score, and using credit wisely.

## Learn Now or Pay Later Young Adult Financial Literacy Guide

The same level of education as the adult guide, written for younger adults. It covers credit reports, credit scores, debt-to-income ratios, budgeting, checking and savings, and more.

## Monthly Budgeting Worksheet

Many people are reluctant to set a household budget because they fear they will not be able to do the things they are used to doing. A household budget identifies the most important expenses and helps make sure they are covered every month. It also makes you stop and think before certain purchases, and helps trim expenses that are not necessary.

## Weekly Journalizing Worksheet

The only real way to know exactly where your money is going is to write down every expense, and that means everything. People who journal their expenses, even for a week or two, are often amazed to see where their money is actually being spent. Write down everything you spend money on through the week.

## Monthly Journalizing Worksheet

Once you have completed your weekly journal, total everything up to find out where your money goes every month. Cutting out, or cutting down on, small daily expenses can add up and free up money you did not know you had.

## Short-Term Goals Worksheet

Setting reasonable goals is an important step to getting your financial life back on track. Understanding your short-term goals helps you reach your long-term goals. This worksheet helps you set them.

## Long-Term Goals Worksheet

Short-term goals are the stepping stones to your long-term goals. Short-term goals are tracked in weeks or months; long-term goals are usually measured in years. Use this sheet to track your long-term goals.
