Welcome to Cambridge Credit Counseling's Housing Counseling Division. We are a HUD-Approved housing counseling agency, providing a wide-range of housing-related counseling services, such as Foreclosure Intervention & Default Counseling, 1st-Time Homebuyer Education, Rental Counseling, and Reverse Mortgage (HECM) Counseling.

Our experienced housing counseling staff is dedicated to helping people become better informed about the options available to them, whatever their situation. We offer a variety of courses and seminars on homeownership, foreclosure avoidance, and rental issues, and our staff is available for one-on-one counseling sessions here in our office, or by telephone from the privacy and convenience of your home.

Cambridge's certified housing counselors will conduct a careful analysis of your budget, answer the questions you have about your situation, and explain the range of options that may be appropriate to your circumstances. • We can help you identify spending patterns that are costing you money and provide you with proven suggestions for eliminating waste and getting back on track.


• We offer pre-purchase education for people who are looking to purchase a home for the first time. These include shopping for a loan, finding a home, and getting the purchase process started. We offer one-on-one and group pre-purchase workshops for prospective homebuyers.


• We offer one-on-one and group workshops for individuals who already own a home but need help with financial management and budgeting. We'll help you protect your investment by showing you effective personal money management and budgeting practices, and specific steps you can take to sustain your home.


• We also provide rental counseling for people who don't want to purchase a property. We conduct one-on-one counseling sessions and rental education workshops. Our counselors will explain the best ways to budget, apply for and maintain residency, and provide relocation information if needed.
